Little things add up. I have noticed that many people keep the bathroom sink water running while brushing their teeth. The proper way to brush your teeth is to wet your toothbrush prior to brushing and then rinse your mouth and toothbrush after you are finished brushing your teeth.
There is a finite amount of usable fresh water on this planet and even small tips like this can make a difference in water conservation.
